I know that the website is vague but what I can do for you is when I start attending classes I can let you know what kind of information they are giving us. In response to what kind of students they are reaching out to I would have to say student leaders. The reason I say this is I am on many different listserves and they are the ones that informed me about the program> In my opinion, I do think that would welcome anyone who wanted to join as long as they expressed a reason.
In the upcoming weeks I would love to answer your question as I will be involved in the process a bit more. I would like to think that there could be a generic leadership program, but on a basic level. My reasoning in this is a Resident Adivsor needs different training from an Patriot Leader. Many of the requirements that they participate in are different but some are the same and that is where you can see the generic leadership programs work.
